Invitations
Meeting invitations that arrive by email show in the calendar on their own. Answer going, maybe or declined from the email or the calendar, and the organiser gets your answer.
Your meetings
New meeting sets what, when, where and how long, and invites guests by address; each guest gets an invitation with answer buttons. Cancel the meeting sends the guests a cancellation. The calendar shows a week or a month, repeating meetings included.
Booking pages
A booking page lets people pick a time with you themselves, without the back and forth. Under Calendar → Booking, New booking page sets:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Meeting name | What the guest books, for example Intro call, 30 minutes |
| Name in the address | The end of the page address, /meet/<name> |
| Lasts | The meeting length |
| On which days, From hour, To hour | When you take meetings |
| Time zone | Your time zone; guests see times in theirs |
| Buffer around meetings, minutes | Free time kept before and after |
| Not sooner than in, hours | How soon someone may book |
| How many days ahead | How far ahead the page offers times |
| Where | A call link, a phone number or an address |
| Which mailbox sends the invitation | The mailbox the invitations come from |
| What the guest reads on the page | A note shown on the page |
Times already taken in your calendar are not offered. The guest gets an invitation and a link to cancel; you see who has booked under the page.
Calendar subscription
Your phone or desktop calendar can show mailrust's meetings. Calendar subscription creates a secret address to subscribe to; it is shown once. The subscription is read-only: meetings are created and answered in mailrust. New address replaces a leaked one, Turn off ends it.
